The Monroe Plan for Medical Care is recognized nationally as a health care management organization that improves health outcomes and reduces disparities for low income and working poor individuals and their families. The Monroe Plan has nearly 100,000 enrolled members in 13 counties and partners with a network of over 4,500 area health care professionals in delivering government funded patient services through the Blue Choice Option, Family Health Plus and Child Health Plus programs.
